As Head of Delivery for Smart Contracts Tribe you will be leading a team of project managers/ Scrum Masters responsible for the delivery of projects across all of IOHKs product platforms. You will work closely with the Delivery Lead, Head of Technology, Product Directors, Chief Technical Officer and Director of Operations to ensure that the Product related projects are delivered to time and efficiency

This is a senior leadership role in IOHK which is a great opportunity to shape the direction of the company as we expand to take on more and more commercial projects for customers.

You will be a servant leader, who keeps pace with the introduction of relevant agile / lean tools and techniques, and removes obstacles and blockers that might get in the way of delivery by creating the right environment for the teams to succeed, helping project managers/Scrum Masters/RTE and the teams to self organize and creating a culture of learning and transparency.

You will collaborate with stakeholders from all across IOHK to help refine processes and bring in delivery standards which help the company stabilize their project activity from a ‘Start Up’ culture to a more repeatable and predictable delivery cadence.

Your mission

Understand Our Delivery Needs
Define programmes and projects which meet the required outcomes of IOHK commercial strategies
The Head of Projects Delivery will operate in the capacity based on Agile principles to define programmes of delivery that meet organizational goals and strategy. This includes but is not limited to:
- Daily program management throughout the program life cycle;
- Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress;
- Managing the program’s budget;
- Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements;
- Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies;
- Managing and utilizing resources across projects;
- Managing stakeholders’ communication;
Work with Agile Product Management (Cardano Product Director and Product Managers) & IOHK commercial team to establish exactly what features need to be delivered and ensure that these align to Scaled Agile delivery framework that seeks to capture outcomes & benefits.
Work with the product, commercial & c-level executives to provide clear management information on resource constraints, budget considerations and delivery capability for Cardano initiatives
Understand the commercial, comms, education & marketing needs required as part of delivery

Requirements

Your expertise

Degree in relevant subject
Any relevant Scrum, SAFe certification
Practical experience implementing agile transformations
An understanding of the company’s budget and how budgeting works within SAFe environment.
Strong working knowledge of lean and Agile frameworks, especially scaled Agile framework, practical experience of same
10+ years Project Management experience

Location

IOG is a distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position. Due to team distribution, we are ideally searching for someone in the United States OR a European time zone (UK, Ireland or Poland).

The base salary for this position has a range of $100k up to $149k per year at the commencement of employment. Any offer is determined by overall experience and performance during the interview process. This is only part of the total compensation package.
