Working within our Professional Service Business Unit as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer this role will join a highly experienced team who are keen to provide further training and mentorship to allow the right individual to forge a rewarding career focused on the deployment of Microsoft-based solutions.
We are looking for someone with hands-on technical experience who has a real passion for Microsoft products and the Power Platform.


Role Outline:
As a Power Platform Developer you will:
  • Participate in the design, development, implementation and support of Power Platform Solutions on a tactical or project basis for clients
  • Develop integrated applications and innovative, intuitive solutions to automate and enhance business processes using Power Platform, Azure and Microsoft 365
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to build knowledge, experience, and understanding of new and existing solutions as a team
  • Deploy tools, processes and metrics to aid the development and performance management of future solutions
  • Engage stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions, and execute on deliverables 

Technical Skills: 
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the following key fundamentals coupled with a desire to build a career in the Microsoft solutions sphere. As a Power Platform Developer you should:
  • Be an expert in Power Platform, including Power Apps (both model driven apps and canvas apps), Power Automate and Microsoft Dataverse
  • Have a proven ability to create professional Power Apps for business users with attractive interfaces, associated views, forms, business rules, relationships and process flows, and be able to incorporate user authentication, data validation and visualisation.
  • Have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development and testing
  • Have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and component/supporting technologies including SharePoint, Forms, Teams
  • Have experience of integrating Power Apps solutions with Microsoft products, APIs or third-party solutions
  • Have experience of building proof of concept and demos
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a passion for technology and a desire to learn
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in customer facing roles.

Desirable Skills: 
The following are desirable but not mandatory:
  • Experience of Power Apps Portals / Power Pages
  • Experience in Agile delivery using Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar tools) for CI/CD and backlog/progress tracking
  • Experience of .Net Development (C#, MVC) / Dynamics 365 / Azure PaaS (Logic Apps, Functions) 
  • Experience working with testing strategies and tools for Power Platform solutions
  • Experience in a consultancy role
