We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our established team. The role is to focus on the creation, management and maintenance of data products. The role will require a person who is very focussed on delivery and suit someone who is excited working in a fast paced big, complex system.

Requirements

Application development:

Full-stack development of Microsoft .NET / C# applications
Building web applications (MVC, SPA, PWA)
Efficient management and retrieval of data (relational, document databases)
Cloud-native Azure architecture (Platform-as-a-Service, Infrastructure-as-a-Service)
Design well-architected solutions (reliable, scalable, performant, maintainable)
Create engaging, responsive and accessible user interfaces
Integrate systems through services, APIs and event brokers
Compliance with modern standards

Azure DevOps (desirable)

Agile backlog and sprint boards
Build and deployment pipelines
Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, with environment quality gates
Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, ARM templates)

Solution delivery:

Agile delivery and principles
Modern, cloud-native architectures
Automated tests and a drive for quality
Development best practice and industry standards

Key Personal attributes:

Passion for technology with a desire to continuously learn new skills
Able to adapt to and embrace new technologies
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written, verbal)
Ability to prioritise your own workload
Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
Demonstrate customer focus
